What Clients Have to Say about Bowers and Merena …
Debbie,
Thank you for representing Bowers and Merena with total professionalism. Your response to me was clear
and quick. I appreciate that. The coin magazines and newspapers present at times the horror stories related
to collectors who were unsuccessful in getting any initial response or a follow-up call from the huge
auction houses. Thank you for making my experience a pleasant one. I am happy with our discussion.
I learned how to critique my own collection of certified coins and how to develop a consignment sheet.
Thank you for your help.

This letter from a satisfied customer after Bowers and Merena sold his note in our March 2006 Baltimore Auction.
Aaron,
I just wanted to drop you a note thanking you for your professional work in auctioning my rare note. You and your
company did exactly as promised plus a little more. Beside the fact that my note sold for more than I could have ever
expected, you were a pleasure to work with throughout the whole auction process. Should any other rarities come my way
Bowers and Merena will be the only auction house I would consider consigning to. Thank you again.
Numismatically Yours,

Dear Steve,
"I am writing to express my deepest gratitude to you and the staff at Bowers and Merena for the truly excellent and thoroughly
professional treatment I received from all involved with the auction of our collection. From my first encounter with you in
our home, to the many subsequent communications with both yourself and with Debbie McDonald, I felt very comfortable with, and
confident in, the enthusiasm, expertise, and personal involvement displayed by all involved. I especially thank you and Ms. McDonald
for taking me through the process in a way that made me realize that I was dealing with that true rarity, the genuinely caring and
friendly professional. I was more-than-pleased with the results of the auction, and would give your company an unqualified endorsement
to anyone desiring to auction their collection."
With warmest regards,

This note from a satisfied consignor to Bowers and Merena’s Official Auction of the August 2005 Baltimore Coin & Currency Convention:
"Just a note to thank you folks for auctioning my coins at the Baltimore money show. I realized a nice profit from the sale of
my commemorative coins, and you handled it very professionally. Special thanks to Debbie McDonald for her help in introducing
a ‘newcomer’ into the world of consignments."

Bowers and Merena auctioned an extremely rare 1854-O Liberty Double Eagle in PCGS EF-40 as lot 2721 in our July 2005 San Francisco
Rarities Sale. The coin was consigned by the family of the late Peter J. Schemenauer, Jr., and it sold for an impressive $241,500.
One of Mr. Schemenauer’s granddaughters wrote to Consignment Director Debbie McDonald after the auction:
"I enjoyed meeting you in San Francisco, and appreciate the professionalism and effort you and the Bowers and Merena team put
forth in realizing the best sales price for our grandfather’s 1854-O Double Eagle. I hope the new owner is happy with
his/her find, and enjoys knowing a bit about its individual history."

Florida real estate developer Rod Sweet selected Bowers and Merena to auction his extensive collection of numismatic rarities,
his coins being offered at several of our sales in 2004 and 2005. After Part II of the Rod Sweet Collection sold in the Bowers and
Merena October 2004 Mandalay Bay Rarities Sale, Mr. Sweet took the time to drop us a quick line:
"Just a note to say thanks for helping to market Part II of my collection at your recent auction in Las Vegas. It has been a
pleasure doing business with Bowers and Merena. Please pass my thanks on to all of the people at Bowers and Merena, as I know
there must be a huge amount of work done in preparing for your auctions."

And after Bowers and Merena sold Mr. Sweet’s stellar-quality Seated Dollar collection in our July 2005 San Francisco Rarities Sale:
"Congratulation to the entire staff for producing such beautiful catalogs for my collection to be displayed. The catalogs have
been amazing from beginning to end, and I am thankful for the time and effort that Bowers and Merena has put forth."
